This series consists of
two-row male and female connectors for the indirect connecting of
printed circuits . Their measurements are according to the connectors
of series E-L17 of DIN 41617 and VG 95323
The male connectors are
either available with straight or angled solder pins for PCB assembly.
The female connectors are either available with straight solder pins or
solder tags.
Coding of several connectors
is possible with the loss of some contacts. A 1.6 x 6 DIN 661
countersunk rivet is inserted into a contact socket in the female
connector and the corresponding contact of the male connector is
snipped-off.

These connectors are used
particularly in control, regulating, and measuring technology in 19" -
format mounted on printed circuit boards: Euroformat 100 - 160mm and
Double-Euroformat 233.4 x 160 mm. Male and female Types B & C are
available with various platings according to requirements.

The series E-Tra has been developed for the
commercial electronics industry. They are compatible and
interchangeable with all standard types on today's market. Their scope
of application extends from measuring and monitoring instruments to
computer and communications technology, as well as to peripheral
equipment. The incorporation of metal screening in their
construction also makes them suitable for use in applications subject
to strong HF interference.
2E are also able to supply a variety of
accessories for D-type connectors and hoods from standard mounting
flanges to screw locks and slide-locks
