We ensure quality through the assessment of all our suppliers and through a strict test / inspection procedure for all value added cable assemblies.

• We will recycle wherever possible and we will keep waste to a minimum.
• We will try to use suppliers who are also environmentally aware.
• We will ensure that our staff know and work to our environmental policy.

The Electronics Component industry is working towards meeting the RoHS ( Restriction of Hazardous Substances ) and WEEE ( Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment ) requirements laid out by the EU.

As Distributors of such components Genalog are not involved in the manufacture of any components.

Whilst some components already comply with the legislation there are many parts that require a change in material specification, we are currently awaiting further details of those parts that need to change and a time scale for this to take effect.

Some industry sectors are not affected by these legislations so customers are required to specify their requirements at the time of order.
